DOG TAGS/LICENSES
1) You can mail or drop off a cheque in the Township office’s drop box (located inside the first set of doors that are always unlocked) along with the following information (which you can also email to officeclerk@augusta.ca):
– Your Name
– Your Mailing Address (including your PO Box, civic/911 # and Postal Code)
– Your Phone Number
– Each Dog’s Name
– Whether each dog is male or female
– Each Dog’s Breed
– Each Dog’s Colour
– Each Dog’s Temperament (good, protective etc.)
We will then mail the license/tag to you along with a receipt.
2) You can e-transfer the payment to the Township using the email account tax@augusta.ca. You must make sure to include your name, address and what the money is for (dog tags, kennel license etc.). You then MUST email officeclerk@augusta.ca the following information:
– Your Name
– Your Address (including your PO Box, civic/911 # and Postal Code)
– Your Phone Number
– Each Dog’s Name
– Whether each dog is male or female
– Each Dog’s Breed
– Each Dog’s Colour
– Each Dog’s Temperament (good, protective etc.)
We will then mail the license/tag to you along with a receipt.
NOTE: Tags are currently $15 until February 28, 2022. The price goes back up to $30 on March 1, 2022.
KENNEL LICENSES
You may also mail/drop off a cheque along with the necessary paperwork in the drop box at the township office or you may e-transfer the township the fee to the email address listed above.
A completed copy of the Kennel License Application – 2022 is required and must be either mailed/dropped off with the cheque or emailed directly to officeclerk@augusta.ca.
Small kennels (5-10 dogs) are $60 until February 28, 2022 (then go up to $90 on March 1, 2022).
Large kennels (11-30 dogs) are are $120 until February 28, 2022 (then go up to $200 on March 1, 2022).
Large kennel owners must show proof of a recent inspection (within the last 6 months). Again, you can mail/drop this off with the cheque or email it directly to officeclerk@augusta.ca.
Once all information is received, the license & your receipt will be mailed to you.
